Central bankers and regulators agreed to revamped capital rules for banks, but market participants and the industry will have to wait until a meeting later this week to hear about the final regulations. The Group of Governors and Heads of Supervision, the body that oversees the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, will meet Sunday to endorse the rules. The regulatory proposals will then be considered by the Group of 20 nations at their meeting in November.
