In one of his first moves since taking over as Digg CEO, Matt Williams has posted an apology for the site's mishandling of a recent redesign -- but it's far from clear whether his mea culpa will be enough to win back users, writes Mathew Ingram. Williams' pledge to restore axed features could make it hard for the site to evolve and grow in future, Ingram argues.
