Christopher Falkenberg, a former Secret Service agent who runs a risk management and security consulting firm, says travelers should make security precautions a priority. He also urges travelers to visualize their response to an emergency situation and pay attention to safety instructions. "People who read the safety cards and plan ahead have a better chance of survival," he says.
