India's infrastructure projects are being built by a small army of imported Chinese laborers, as the country seeks to learn the skills needed to speedily build factories and other major projects from scratch. The 15,000 Chinese workers are expected to train their Indian counterparts, helping to create the infrastructure and skills-base needed to grow the Indian economy. "In China, we build very fast," brags one Chinese construction worker. "Indian workers are slow and sometimes lazy. They are not familiar with modern industrial construction processes."
