Nvidia late last week announced new software called 3DTV Play, which enables gamers using 3D-capable notebooks and desktops to patch into 3D HDTVs and get what the company describes as a "big-screen entertainment experience." Separately, the company apparently inadvertently posted a mention online about its upcoming GeForce GTX 580, an update intended to improve upon the processing performance of its GTX 480 offering.
