Arguments against foreign ownership of airlines simply ring false in our increasingly globalized world, writes Brett Snyder. Labor, competition and national defense concerns can all be handled with legislation that stops short of an outright ban on foreign ownership, he argues. As for the worry that America's national identity is at stake, he wonders why this concern is valid for airlines, but not for beer or televisions.
