Residents of Coral Gables, Fla., are divided over a proposed regulation that prohibits the use of
gasoline-powered leaf blowers and limits the use of electric leaf blowers and other gas-powered lawn equipment to a certain number of hours. Some residents favor the new rule because it would reduce noise and air pollution in the neighborhood, while opponents say it would add another policy to the city's growing ordinances.
