Students who are gifted at a Mississippi elementary school designed a rainwater garden that is being built at their school to help divert polluted water from flowing into area waterways. The students will also educate others about the rainwater project, which is being funded by the the Pascagoula River Audubon Center. The organization won $80,000 from a Disney contest that will go toward rainwater gardens at all schools in the Moss Point district.
