The merger of United Airlines and Continental Airlines will become more visible to travelers who pass through Chicago's O'Hare International Airport next week when Continental moves its ticketing and check-in counters to the United terminal. The merged airline has also started repainting its fleet. Flight operations will not be combined until the Federal Aviation Administration issues a single operating certificate to the carrier, which is expected to occur in 2011.
