Boosting the capacity of Florida Power and Light's Turkey Point nuclear power plant would benefit customers and help fight climate change by limiting emissions from fossil-fuel sources, the company said. "We need to diversify," said Mayco Villafana, a representative of FPL. "By building a power plant such as this, we are going to save our customers $93 billion over the life span of those power plants."
