Texas Health Resources is using YouTube, Facebook and Twitter to increase user traffic to a site designed to inform the public about its electronic health record system, which has been deployed across most of its 24 hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. "It's a great idea to leverage social media in a formal way as part of our branding campaign," THR's chief medical information officer said.
