Inergy posted a $51 million loss for the most recent quarter, driven largely by a seasonal dip in business despite selling more propane than usual. The company sold 340.2 million retail gallons of propane in the past fiscal year, up more than 30 million gallons from the year before. That helped bring Inergy a $70.1 million increase in quarterly revenue, although the gain was offset by increased operating costs.
