Several of the state attorneys general involved in the nationwide investigation into foreclosure processes will no longer be in their positions next year. Lenders hope the development means that the resolution of foreclosure issues will be accelerated, according to industry lawyers. Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller, who was re-elected and is leading the inquiry, said the probe remains on track. "This is a bipartisan and united effort with a clear mandate," Mr. Miller said.
