BP's $20 billion fund to compensate victims of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill is "more than enough," Kenneth Feinberg, administrator of the Gulf Coast Claims Facility, was quoted as saying by the Financial Times. Feinberg has so far released $2 billion for 125,000 individuals, but has only approved fewer than 50% of the claims. U.S. government cleanup expenses and the lost income of businesses and individuals will also be obtained from the fund, Feinberg added.
