Diners at the L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Hong Kong nearly always choose the iPad when given a choice between the new technology or an old-fashioned wine list. The restaurant is said to be the only one in Hong Kong offering the option, and though iPads give customers easy access to information, they aren't driving up sales, said Benoit Allauzen, the restaurant's sommelier, who notes, "It is still the sommelier who gives you his services to introduce the wine."
