The effort from Mekanism, San Francisco, includes a six-week online series dubbed "Unwrap Attack" featuring so-called "freakout" clips in which the recipients react big to their holiday gifts. Users can post their own clips and also download a Facebook application with gift reactions, such as "tears of joy" or "bouncing off the walls."
