The head of the Transportation Security Administration admitted that the TSA's new method for conducting pat-downs is "intrusive" but said the new security rules would remain in place. John Pistole also indicated that the TSA "welcomes feedback" on the screening procedures and would "work to make them as minimally invasive as possible." Meanwhile, some lawmakers are criticizing the pat-downs, and Congress plans to hold hearings to discuss whether the searches are appropriate.
