Infants who were given cow's milk formula gained weight at a faster pace and had higher weight-for-length scores than those who were fed protein hydrolysate formulas, a study in Pediatrics showed. Researchers said the findings may be due to the taste of the protein hydrolysate formula or its high protein content that could cause babies to feel full and stop eating.
