More construction employment opportunities opened up across 30 states in January and February, according to the Labor Department. Officials at the Associated General Contractors of America note that though the new jobs are good news, unemployment in the industry is still more than 20%. AGC's CEO, Stephen Sandherr, said more work will be available and economic growth more achievable "if we can find ways to stimulate private-sector demand, cut red tape and address aging infrastructure."
