In a full-scale attempt to lessen the public relations damage of Saturday's computer glitch that forced the cancellation of 150 flights and disrupted the travel of about 12,000 passengers, Alaska Airlines is reaching out to not only the affected ticket holders but also to about 2 million of the company's frequent-flier members. Alaska Airlines is offering an apology and compensation.
