Denny's has launched a TV ad and social media campaign to highlight a limited-time seven-item bacon-centric menu that expands the traditional breakfast meat across all three meals, and tops it off with a Maple Bacon Sundae. Bacon's popularity among restaurant patrons may be at odds with the increasing demand for healthier options, but it has been growing for several years nonetheless. Restaurants responded last year by boosting the number of menu items with the pork product by more than 8%, according to Technomic.
