Two Republican House members voiced concern about the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's analysis of the cost of new swaps rules. The House Agriculture Committee leaders asked the agency's inspector general to review its assessment. "At the very least, Commission staff should undertake a detailed analysis that attempts to quantify the impact using an objective, data-driven approach," wrote Reps. Frank Lucas, chairman of the Agriculture Committee, and Michael Conaway.
