McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts are taking to Foursquare and Twitter to promote new product offerings. Efforts to promote McDonald's new McCafe Shake include a cause-based component -- the chain will donate $1 for every Philadelphia-area patron who checks in on Foursquare and tweets about it. Dunkin' has launched a weekly trivia game on Twitter to promote its limited-time Big 'N Toasty breakfast sandwich, and players who get the answers right will be eligible to win one of 10 $100 gift cards.
