Motorola will ship a Wi-Fi-only version of its Xoom tablet on March 27 for $599, the same price Apple charges for its equivalent iPad 2 device, the company said Wednesday. Motorola had launched the 3G version of Xoom at a cost of $799, or $70 more than the iPad. Analysts said that Apple's move to price the iPad 2 at the same level as the original tablet will force rivals to moderate their prices.
