In the drive to go mobile, marketers shouldn't neglect SMS, which remains an effective means to engage and win consumers, according to panelists at a session of CTIA Wireless 2011. A call to action, as in a sweepstakes, is key, and SMS can produce that as well as mobile, said Jody Haneke of Haneke Design.
