The world's largest concrete pump -- owned by Georgia-based Ashmore Concrete Contractor -- is on its way to Japan to be used to stabilize the Fukushima nuclear reactor damaged in the tsunami. The 95-ton pump had been previously used at the Savannah River Site. A second pump -- owned by California-based Associated Concrete Pumping -- will be airlifted later this week and will be used to pump water to cool the reactor.
