Casual chains Applebee's and Olive Garden are dealing with negative buzz and the potential for guests to lose trust in them after servers in one of each of the chains' restaurants accidentally served alcoholic beverages to toddlers in recent weeks. Both chains say they have tweaked their serving policies to prevent future problems, but PR experts say the chains must do more, including retraining staff, limiting bar use and clearly posting new policies and news of their efforts on social media sites.
