Weekly domestic ethanol production declined for the third consecutive week, but output is still higher when compared with the same period last year, according to the Energy Information Administration. Daily production reached 898,000 barrels in the week that ended April 8, down 4,000 barrels from the previous week, said the EIA. Meanwhile, ethanol supplies swelled by 455,000 barrels to 20.52 million barrels in the same period, the agency said.
