The proposed $1.4 billion National Football League Stadium in downtown Los Angeles may need the consent of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors as well as City Hall before construction can proceed. The proposal by Anschutz Entertainment Group would mean relocating part of the Convention Center and upgrading it as well. Some are concerned the developer might seek environmental waivers, but it is likely county supervisors will allow the project, said Supervisor Don Knabe.
