The demand for outdoor power equipment in the residential and commercial markets is expected to climb 6.4% a year for the next few years -- and reach $11 billion in sales in 2015 -- while government demand for the same is slated to increase 1.4% a year and produce $590 million in sales, according to a report published by the Freedonia Group. The report says the recovery of the housing market and the number of public spaces to maintain will boost sales.
