Dr. Mike Harrington and Dr. Brian Ross of the Huntington Medical Research Institutes in Pasadena, Calif., are initiating a two-year study that will aim to discover Alzheimer's disease biomarkers before patients become symptomatic. The study, which will use MR spectroscopy and molecular tests to study the brain, is seeking 120 participants aged 70 to 90, including healthy people who are at risk of the disease, those with mild cognitive impairment and those diagnosed with dementia.
