Researchers at the Allen Institute for Brain Science have created the first-ever comprehensive genetic map of the human brain, allowing scientists to gain a better understanding of how Alzheimer's disease and other brain conditions develop. The 3D, interactive brain atlas includes more than 100 million data points and documents the positioning and function of thousands of genes. The atlas is available to scientists for free at www.brain-map.org.
