Chronic sneezing in cats, which may be caused by allergies and bacterial or viral infections, often cannot be completely cured, but such symptoms can be controlled with routine veterinary care, writes veterinarian Brennen McKenzie. Separately, McKenzie notes that there is no consistent evidence linking diet to kidney illness in cats, and he adds that healthy felines typically should be fed foods that meet established nutritional requirements.
