Researchers found that infants of women who were exposed to bisphenol A at 16 weeks of gestation were twice as likely to suffer wheezing that persists for up to three years. Infants born to women who were exposed to BPA later in pregnancy did not exhibit a similar risk, according to the study presented at the Pediatric Academic Societies annual meeting.
