The food-truck trend has grown even hotter since last year's NRA Show, as chefs and would-be restaurateurs see them as an affordable way to break into the business. Industry forecaster Suzy Badaracco predicts that more brick-and-mortar restaurants will hop on the food truck trend as a less-pricey engine for driving sales and building brand awareness. Other hot trends identified at this year's show include pop-up eateries, table-side iPads and an alcoholic version of chocolate milk aimed at nostalgic adults.
