A recent poll shows that some 85% of Americans believe the U.S. should continue to be active in the United Nations, while some 60% support the full, on-time payment of the country's financial contributions to the world body. "Anyone who wants to perpetuate myths about negative American perceptions about the United Nations is ignoring the data," said Peter Yeo, vice president of the UN Foundation and executive director of the Better World Campaign, which released the poll results.
