Only 36% of consumers likely are to use their mobile devices to search for information on quickservice restaurants, compared with 64% for fine-dining establishments and 62% for local restaurants, according to a report from Equation Research and QSR. Consumers don't typically seek out reviews of quickservice eateries or search for locations, which means chains need to find more creative ways to use mobile in their marketing, Equation researcher Chris Burke said.
