T-Mobile USA will bring its 42 megabit-per-second service to an additional 55 markets today and says it will introduce a smartphone by year-end that will enable users to exploit the HSPA+ technology to its fullest. The carrier also said it would overhaul its pricing structure with new plans that impose caps on data use. Rather than imposing higher fees for overages, T-Mobile would slow the connection to 2G speeds.
