Many young children might be unprepared to begin school because their parents have not spent enough time on singing, dancing and nursery rhymes, according to a child-development expert from the United Kingdom. Sally Goddard Blythe, director of the Institute for Neuro-Physiological Psychology, says such activities help students with the language skills they will need in school.
