The number of people accessing broadband Internet while on the go will reach near parity with those connecting from their homes by 2015, according to research conducted by NPD. The report suggests the growth in wireless connectivity will be driven by a surge in demand for mobile video. NPD estimates that by the end of 2015, 77 million people will be viewing video content on their mobile devices, up from about 6 million who were doing so at the end of 2010.
