Four out of five vulnerabilities plaguing corporate networks can be traced to one of 37 Windows programs targeted by hackers, according to a report from security firm Secunia. Other experts argue that just because a system has a vulnerability doesn't mean it will be targeted. Daniel Guido of iSec Partners says an analysis of hacker exploit kits from the past two years found tools for exploiting 27 of about 8,000 possible software weaknesses, suggesting that not all vulnerabilities are equally dangerous.
