General Motors vehicle brands GMC and Buick, working with digital shop MRM Worldwide, are using Facebook to help track the return they are getting on their social media investments. Jim Kruger, digital and social media manager at Buick, said the interplay between the brands' online vehicle-configuration tools and the social network will give the companies more insight into the designs customers choose and how well they are liked by their Facebook friends.
