Chatham Lodging Trust has acquired five hotels for a total of $195 million. The acquisition gives the REIT an additional 764 rooms in various markets and averages out to $255,000 per key. The hotels are a 192-room Residence Inn in Mission Valley, Calif., a 200-key Residence Inn in Anaheim, Calif.; a Residence Inn in Tysons Corner, Va., that has 121 rooms; a 146-key Homewood Suites in San Antonio; and the Doubletree Guest Suites in Washington, D.C., which has 105 rooms.
