Physics teachers are using the "Angry Birds" game, played on mobile devices, to teach students about the laws of physics. "We get to ask questions just like scientists ask when they're trying to figure out the atmospheric composition of a planet, or the motion of a new never-before-seen asteroid," said John Burk, an Atlanta physics teacher. His students are using technology to determine the role of physics in the game, which involves launching birds long distances.
