More schools in Michigan are turning to online learning. A new online charter school in one district is aimed at providing a new educational option for students who have dropped out or fallen behind. The online program, called Relevant Academy, offers students a chance to earn high-school credit by doing most of their work from a laptop computer at home. Neighboring districts offer similar plans and another district has developed an online curriculum for home-schooled students.
