Large U.S. companies are hoarding more than $850 billion in unspent cash, a study by REL Consulting and CFO Magazine found. Meanwhile, the nation's small businesses are struggling to grow as lenders continue to hold back credit. "Large organizations sit on cash with limited investment opportunities, and small organizations are being starved for cash," REL researcher Shawn Taoufiki said.
