The many mobile devices on the market are differentiated by generation in an Affinity survey, with e-readers the most popular among baby boomers, tablets doing well with Generation X and smartphones prevailing with Millennials. But, in all, digital devices appear to have a bright future across age lines. "What was a bit surprising was the extent to which consumers report that they are planning to purchase each of the different devices, especially tablet PCs, which is a testament to how quickly these digital platforms are being adopted in the marketplace," said Affinity Managing Director Tom Robinson.
