T-Mobile USA on Wednesday launched the first caller ID service among the major U.S. carriers, charging $3.99 a month for the Cequint-powered feature that will debut on the carrier's new Samsung Exhibit phone before expanding to other devices. One hitch: The service will not disclose the names of callers on Verizon's network. T-Mobile also said it had expanded its HSPA+ service to 56 additional markets, for a total of 152.
