At least 13 dogs that spent time in Summit County, Colo., were hospitalized this week and two died after experiencing vomiting and seizures that veterinarians believe could be the result of ingesting a neurotoxin. The exact poison hadn't been determined Tuesday, but Frisco Animal Hospital practice manager Jill Cohn Hall said the time of year and location suggests the culprit could be a wild plant or fungus such as toxic mushrooms.
