The demand rebound experienced by the top 25 U.S. hotel markets might be coming to an end as room demand slips back after hitting an average growth of 8%, STR says. Demand "has probably hit that ceiling," said Brad Garner, STR's chief operating officer. Demand dropped to a gain of 6.3% at year-to-date June 2011, from 8.6% at year-end-2010.
